Our journey began in the city of Chicago in July 2018. Thanks to the modern matchmaker (a dating app), we found each other...although Aditi nearly canceled the first date because she was tired after work. 

After a few dates, it seemed the universe had other plans. Aditi moved to California, and we both thought our budding romance was over.

A few months later, work brought Amir to the Bay Area, and he reached out to Aditi. She was headed to San Diego that weekend to third-wheel with her friends Mary and Will (now happily married themselves). On a whim, she invited Amir along.

What could have been an awkward weekend turned into a magical experience that neither expected. Against the backdrop of beautiful San Diego, Amir and Aditi reconnected. 
 

And the rest is history.
